Kenya tourism attractions

The name of “The Jewel of East Africa "attributed Kenya is slightly incomplete. In terms of natural tourist attractions, Kenya is a little piece of paradise on Earth. It takes more vacations to visit all the beautiful beaches, the magnificent wildlife, the coral reefs, the savannahs, the mountains, the parks, reserves, vineyards, valleys or historic monuments. Besides these “aspects”, peace, relaxation or adventure, available because of these "features" that nature gave Kenya, there are many animals, plants or birds in their habitats, that can be admired on in safari expeditions.

In Kenya live more than 40 tribes, each of them having its own language, culture and traditions. Among the major tribes are Kikuru, Luyia, mainly Luo and Masai, whose inhabitants still live a semi-nomadic life, based on growing sheeps and cattles. The Swahili culture, located along the coast, has prospered over the years due to trading dhow boats, between Arabs and Africans. The hot season is the most proper period for tourism. Since the country is located in the southern hemisphere, the season takes place during our winter (December-February). Then takes place a massive migration of exotic birds to the lakes of the Great Fault. From March until our early summer, there is a rainy season, more peaceful in terms of crowd, but equally enjoyable for the holidays. During this period the prices are low, in comparison to those in the tourist season.
